The Redwood Universal Gateway turns on and turns off any light fixture type (e.g. fluorescent, CFL, HID, LED, etc.) and can also provide a 0-10V dimming signal if a dimmable ballast is present on the fixture. Installed on or next to each fixture, it receives low-voltage power from, and communicates with, the Redwood Engine via low-voltage cable. A wiring harness connects the gateway to a relay or dimmable ballast. The Universal Gateway connects to a Redwood Sensor that monitors light levels, temperature and motion, transmitting that data back to the Redwood Engine.
